THE VISION to redevelop the town centre is to be put to residents to give their views. Councillors will meet next week to approve a draft plan to be sent out for consultation - it includes 14 development sites. Coun Linda Burgess said: “This is a very important planning document for the future of the town centre. I hope that as many people as possible will take the opportunity to give their views once the consultation begins.” A formal consultation period is scheduled to run from early August to the end of September. *What would you like to see happen in the town centre?
