A WOMAN has been charged in connection to the murder of a woman earlier this year.
Jade Ward, 31, of Willow Garth has been charged yesterday with perverting the course of justice following the death of Jill Hibburd.
She has been bailed to appear before Barnsley Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 3 October.
73-year-old Jill Hibberd was found dead at her home in Roy Kilner Road, Wombwell, on Thursday May 31.
Detectives believe she died the previous evening and a post-mortem examination revealed she died from multiple stab wounds.
Two other people are also charged in connection to Ms Hibberd’s death. Lee Trevor Fueloep, 40, of Willow Garth, Barnsley, is charged with murder and burglary.
Andrew Ashby, 22 of Woolgreaves Avenue, Wakefield, is charged with assisting an offender in a murder.
