ROAD closures have been scheduled for this Friday as the Barnsley Town Centre Races take place.
Races for children, youths and elite competitors will take place on Friday July 20 and there will also be a community ride, where you will be given the opportunity to experience the course.
As part of the race, on Street parking and loading on the affected street will be suspended from 5am, areas of Upper County Way Car Park will be closed for team parking from 6pm on Thursday July 19 to 11pm on Friday July 20 after the event has finished.
From 3pm on Friday, the following roads will be closed:
Church Street, Regents Street, Eastgate, Eldon Street, Market Hill, St Mary’s Place, Church Lane,
Queen Street, Kendray Street, Regent Street, Regent Street South, Hanson Street, Royal Street and County Way
