COSTA coffee has been refurbished and reopened as a flagship store.
There are only 8 flagship Costa coffee stores in the UK, and two in Yorkshire, with the second one being in Leeds.
A flagship store is a store that trial new equipment, layouts and menu options. These include sausage rolls, soup and fresh sandwiches on top of additional food items that are not available in mainstream outlets.
Barnsley blogger and content creator Rebecca Butcher, 20, was invited to the grand reopening on April 12 and said in her blog: "The space has been utilised to have enough room for people to move and feel comfortable. The decoration is lovely and more minimalistic and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and would expect this quality from a high-end cafe!"
