A BARNSLEY dad has been handed a four-year jail term - after he shook his crying son and caused a severe brain injury.
Michael Mills, 24, was drinking strong lager when he was interrupted by the four-month-old's crying as he played Call of Duty.
The boy, now two, has been left blind with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and severe learning difficulties and will need permanent care for the rest of his life.
Mills, of Rotherham Road, Cundy Cross, was found guilty of inflicting grievous bodily harm on the child after a three-week trial.
