POLICE in Barnsley have appealed for witnesses after an 85-year-old woman died in a collision.
At 11pm on Wednesday, officers received reports that a grey Ford Mondeo had been involved in a collision with a wall on Sheffield Road, Hoyland Common.
The 85-year-old woman was taken to hospital where she sadly passed away.
An 82-year-old woman, a 77-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 1057 of March 25.
