BARNSLEY Football Club’s chief commercial officer Darren Hayes has handed over a cheque to Barnsley Hospice following their takeover day at Oakwell earlier this month.
The hospice volunteers helped raise £2,762, the most they have ever raised from the event.
A spokesperson for the hospice said: “Another massive thank you to the generous fans who donated on the day and the volunteers who came out to help us, and of course to Barnsley Football Club for supporting us once again, helping us raise this amazing total and making us feel so welcome on the day.”
