TWO suspected drug dealers will appear in court next month following the discovery of over 100 wraps of heroin, some hidden in one of the suspect’s pants.

Last Thursday (March 13) at 11pm, response officers were on patrol in Lundwood when they sighted a Toyota parked outside a property on Magdalene Gardens.

Identifying the two men in the vehicle, officers intervened for a search of them and their vehicle.

During a search, one man, aged 30, was found to be in possession of thousands of pounds of cash, and a mobile phone believed to be used for drug supply.

A search of the vehicle led officers to recover a small amount of heroin, but further searches in custody led to another 19 wraps of heroin being found concealed in the man’s pants.

Following the seizure of the car, drug detection dog PD Cole indicated that something was amiss behind the dashboard, and a further 100 wraps of heroin were found.

The man, aged 30, is charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply – crack cocaine, possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply – heroin, and acquire/use criminal property.

The driver of the car, aged 40, is charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply – crack cocaine, and possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply – heroin.

Both men will appear before Sheffield Crown Court on April 14 2025.
