A MAN will have to adhere to the terms of a stalking prevention order.
Wayne Chambers, of Doles Crescent, Royston, did not appear at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court for his hearing on January 9 but the order was granted in his absence.
It will prohibit the 44-year-old from making contact with four people or attending three streets in Barnsley for two years.
CASH seized from a Barnsley man by police will continue to be held while investigations go on. Jack Davies, of Oak Close, did not attend his hearing at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court earlier this month. However, it was decided that the 27-year-old’s £2,344 – seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act – will continue to be held until the next hearing on July 10.
AN arrest warrant has been issued for a man who failed to comply with a court-imposed community order. Kiss Bamforth, of Madeline Gardens, Barnsley, failed to show up for a hearing at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday. The 31-year-old is accused of breaching an unpaid work requirement.
