BARNSLEY Hospice is asking residents to ‘treecycle’ their Christmas tree to help raise vital funds for them.
A hospice spokesperson said: “It's National Tree Week, and what better way to do your bit for the environment than supporting Barnsley Hospice by booking your Christmas Tree to be ‘Treecycled’ by us?
“We’ve already had plenty of people book in for their Christmas tree to be collected and recycled. Thank you so much for your support!”
Using the ‘Treecycle’ service, with a suggested minimum donation of £15 per tree will help Barnsley Hospice provide specialist care to local people when they need it most.
The hospice will be collecting trees on Sunday January 5 2025 from the following postcodes: S36, S63, S70, S71, S72, S73, S74, and S75.
