A GROUP of fundraising grannies celebrated their third birthday last week – and they’ve raised more than £13,000 for Barnsley Hospice.
The Grabby Grannies meet every Thursday at Heaven and Ale, on Agnes Road, to raise much-needed funds for the hospice.
They celebrated their third birthday last Thursday and hosted a Halloween-themed event at the pub.
A hospice spokesperson said: “In the last three years, the group has raised an incredible £13,275.
“We’d like to say a massive thank you to the group for their amazing hard work and dedication to the hospice, as well as Gary and his team at Heaven and Ale for letting them use their facilities and supporting this amazing fundraising.”
