TWO new A Level subjects are being added to Barnsley Sixth Form College’s curriculum from next year.
The subjects will cover data analytics and health and social care.
A college spokesperson said: “As more data is generated and used in today’s world, the demand for data analysts has increased significantly, showing how important data-driven decision-making is across different industries.
“IT: data analytics will help students develop skills in statistics and analysis and how to manipulate and visualise data effectively.
“In health and social care, students will have the opportunity to explore how health affects individuals in society.
“The course focuses on developing the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to work in related fields such as nursing, social work, public health or midwifery.”
