PARENTS and carers with children in Year Six are being encouraged to start applying for their child’s secondary school place for September 2025.
Barnsley Council has advised that if your child is currently in Year Six, applying online on the Virtual Family Hubs website is quick and easy – all you need is an email address.
A council spokesman said: “You can also find lots of useful information on our website to help you make your choices – visit barnsley.gov.uk/school-admissions.”
