RESURFACING work will take place on Barnsley Road, Cudworth, overnight from Sunday for approximately two weeks.
Barnsley Council says traffic lights will be in place between Bank Street and Bow Street from 8pm to 5am, Sunday to Thursday, to allow the work to take place overnight.
Work will recommence following the bank holiday weekend at 8pm on Tuesday August 27 and run until the morning of Friday August 30.
During the works, the following side roads will be closed on a phased basis as required:
Bank Street
St John’s Road (From Barnsley Road to York Street)
Carlton Street
Bow Street
Drivers are asked not to park in the affected areas during working hours.
Access to the Co-op will be maintained during opening hours and access for residents will only be permissible when safe to do so.
