JOHN Duffield has been helping people find the finishing pieces of their puzzle for the last 40 years – and he’s showing no sign of stopping yet.
The 70-year-old can be seen selling his jigsaw puzzles on markets across Yorkshire, including in Barnsley, almost every day.
Despite the internet making it harder for many sectors to trade, John believes his business has only got better over the year.
He said: “This game has got better. Everything is fine for us – we’re unique. We’ve got no competition whatsoever.
“We’ve improved over the years and it is because of the uniqueness. Virtually no one else in the country does this.
“We do eight markets a week – Barnsley, Chesterfield, Wakefield and lots more.
“Barnsley is one of the best ones to go to.”
