MOTORISTS have been warned to expect delays on the M1 near Barnsley until later this month.
A lane will be closed from junction 36 to 37 – both north and southbound – until July 26. Survey works will be taking place and delays of around ten minutes are expected.
TEMPORARY traffic lights will be in place on High Street in Royston on Wednesday. The lights, which are expected to cause delays, will be in place between 9.30am and 1.30pm. Yorkshire Water are responsible for the work taking place.
A SLIP road in Stairfoot will be shut tonight (Sunday). The slip road will be closed to Stairfoot roundabout from 6pm on Sunday until 1am the following day. Barnsley Council will be inspecting the bridge.
A BRIERLEY road will be closed for three days later this month. Frickley Bridge Lane will be closed between July 22 and July 24, whilst Yorkshire Water undertake work. Motorists have been warned to expect delays.
MOTORISTS have been warned to expect delays on the main road in Birdwell for over a week whilst Yorkshire Water conduct work. Sheffield Road will have temporary traffic lights placed on them from 8am on July 22 to 5pm on July 31. Yorkshire Water are responsible for the work.
TEMPORARY traffic lights will be in place on Pontefract Road in Brampton until next month. The work, by Rotherham Council, has been taking place since June 18. However, motorists have been told that delays are likely as the lights will be in place until August 13.
