NEW local MP Marie Tidball attended her first local event as the Labour Member of Parliament for Penistone and Stocksbridge at the weekend.
Ms Tidball said: “Thank you to Thurgoland Community Welfare for inviting me to their excellent community Fun Day today – my first local event as our MP!
“Well done to all the volunteers who organised it and for all the local people who took part, especially in their mini Olympics.”
