A LOCAL councillor has called on Yorkshire Water to take swift action following a water leak occurred in Darfield – at the same spot for a third time in 12 months.
The leak, on Doncaster Road near to the Mumbai Indian restaurant, has previously been ‘fixed’ by Yorkshire Water on two occasions.
But each time the work is finished, the site has began to leak again.
Coun Kevin Osborne said: “It is disappointing to say the very least to see another water leak on Doncaster Road, making it three times in less than 12 months that residents of Darfield have experienced a leak at this site.”
