AS teenagers across Barnsley anxiously wait to find out their A Level results, one Ardsley woman has shown exactly how far those from ‘tarn’ can go.
Jennifer Hunt left Barnsley College in 2020 as an 18-year-old with A*s across the board and went onto study Philosophy and Theology at the University of Oxford. Three years on and the now 21-year-old has now graduated from the world-renowned university with a 2:1 – and is gearing up to move to London to work for investment company, Mercy.
Her mum, Helen Hunt, said: “I’m so proud of her.
“It’s been crazy the last few years and obviously all her exams were really difficult but she’s managed to graduate and did so well.
“She officially graduated last Tuesday and it was really good to be part of something so traditional.
“She’s currently on a three-week climbing tour of Europe – she’s on a big blow-out before she starts her job.”
