PART of the M1 was closed yesterday following a collision between a lorry and a van.

The motorway was closed southbound from junction 37 at Dodworth.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “The driver of the van, 38-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.

“The road was closed whilst officers carried out enquiries but was reopened at around 3.30pm.”
