WOMBWELL Library has reopened after a refit that has allowed a welfare rights team to move in.

The four week overhaul has created three new interview rooms and moved the reception desk.

The book displays are now on wheels which will allow staff to move them around and allow community groups to use the building if required.

There has also been a total rewire of the lighting system and new lights installed.

Barnsley Connects services - which used to be in the town hall - are now based in the building, with a duty service from the welfare rights team.
