YOUNG market traders are wanted to take part in this year’s Barnsley Youth Market which returns to the town centre this summer.
Barnsley Youth Market gives traders aged 16-30 in the borough the chance to showcase their entrepreneurial skills at a specially held event on June 30.
Up to 20 young stallholders will take part, before the best stalls are selected to go forward to the Yorkshire youth market in Leeds on August 1, and then onto the national youth market in Stratford Upon Avon on August 30/September 1.
An information and training evening will be held at the Digital Media Centre on May 9, where traders can find out more about the events and register their interest.
The evening will also feature an appearance from last year’s national young trader of the year – 18-year-old Silkstone girl Rose Dyson of Pura Cosmetics, who will be available for one to one advice sessions.
