THE Illustrated World of Nick Sharratt is coming The Civic in Barnsley from June 27 to August 22.
Nick Sharratt is the man behind the recognisable illustrations for Jacqueline Wilson’s Tracy Beaker books and other much-loved characters.
He has launched a humorous and colourful exhibition that is making its way round museums and galleries across the country.
Visitors will get the chance to enter a recreation of his studio filled with the tools of his trade and the stages involved in creating one of his illustrations.
People will also be invited to try their hand at a range of different drawing techniques and materials, including the opportunity to create their own digital ‘Sharracter’.
All exhibitions are free to enter.
