JIMMY McNulty has been released by the Reds following a mutual agreement over the termination of his contract.
The 28-year-old was a 2011 summer signing from Brighton & Hove Albion and went on to make 61 appearances for the Reds.
Barnsley Football Club would like to wish Jimmy the best of luck in his future career.
Midfielder David Perkins also looks set to leave Barnsley, having agreed an 18-month contract at Blackpool.
