A MAN who was charged with assault, criminal damage and possessing a knife will be sentenced later this month.

Joshua Abraham, of Stoneleigh Croft, Worsbrough Common, assaulted a shopkeeper at his local Premier store and slashed his car’s tyres.

The 21-year-old was also found to have a three-inch pocket knife on him when police attended following the altercation in November.

Abraham will appear for sentencing at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court on March 27.
