AN animation created as part of a local ketamine addiction recovery campaign has been nominated for one of the nation’s most well-regarded film awards.
Debuting at the prestigious London International Animation Festival last week, the ‘It’s OK To Ask For Help’ video comes as part of a wider campaign by Recovery Steps, which includes focus groups with individuals who’ve had firsthand experience with ketamine and a dedicated support group.
By making it to the BAFTA (British Academy Film Awards) qualifying festival, the film has been nominated in the British Short Animation category at the internationally-renowned awards show.
