A PET owner who is accused of breaching an animal welfare law will appear in court next month.
Sheldon Moore, of Harold Avenue, Barnsley, is accused of failing to meet the needs of Belle, his German Shepherd, which saw the RSPCA take action.
Prosecutors allege he caused ‘unnecessary suffering’ to the animal by failing to seek veterinary care to treat his dog’s leg fracture or adhere to regular bandage changes.
Moore will appear at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court on November 4.
