TWO Barnsley FC players paid a special visit to a local primary school recently as part of World Mental Health Day.
Stephen Humphrys and Georgie Gent visited key stage two pupils at Hunningley Primary Academy as part of a special assembly.
Pupils had the chance to ask the duo about all things football and mental health.
One lucky pupil who gave the best question was gifted a football signed by the Barnsley FC squad.
Macauley Hobson, Barnsley FC Community Trust’s Premier League Primary Stars Officer, said: “It was great to organise this event for the school.
“We appreciate the players taking time out of their day to make an impact within the community especially on an important day like World Mental Health Day.
“We had some great engagement from the players, pupils and teachers.”
