TEMPORARY traffic lights will be in place on Grange Lane this week.
The lights will be there tomorrow whilst ‘urgent dangerous tree felling’ work takes place.
Motorists have been warned to expect delays.
A SECTION of the Dearne Valley Parkway will be closed temporarily next month. On October 12, from Manvers Way to Cathill roundabout, the road will be closed for the weekend whilst new bridge joints are installed. Further work may take place on an additional weekend.
RESURFACING work in Bolton-upon-Dearne is likely to cause delays for over a week. St Andrew’s Square, from Carr Head Lane, will be closed from October 7 to October 25. Motorists have been warned to expect delays.
A STAINCROSS street will be closed next month for repairs. Warren Lane will be the subject of the closure on October 1 while Northern Powergrid conduct work.
RESURFACING works in Grimethorpe are likely to cause delays over the coming weeks. Barnsley Council will be conducting the work between October 7 and 11 on Meadow Crescent. Residents have been told that delays are likely during that time.
WATH Road in Elsecar will be the subject of temporary traffic lights next week. Both Yorkshire Water and Northern Powergrid will be conducting work from tomorrow. The latter will complete their work on October 4 though no date has been set for Yorkshire Water. Motorists have been told that delays are possible.
