LAST week members of the Civic Trust took a walk down memory lane as they learned the history of some of the town centre’s most historic locations.
Starting at the NUM building, the tour went to Barnsley Archives in the town hall and down the Victorian Arcade as they were talked through the town’s history.
This was the first history tour they’ve hosted, with more planned for both residents and visitors alike.
