A DOG owner who failed to pick up after his pet has been handed a £700 bill.
Irvin Bowley, of George Street, Worsbrough, was fined in his absence at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court last week.
He failed to pick up after his pet on January 27 and breached a public space protection order (PSPO) which is in place on Charles Street, near the town centre.
He was fined £220, told to pay an £88 surcharge and £400 in court costs, totalling £708.
