PLANS to demolish a bungalow and replace it with three more have been approved by the council.
An application for the work to take place on Pontefract Road in Lundwood was originally submitted in October last year.
The plans were given the green light by Barnsley Council’s planning board last week.

PLANS to open a new taxi office in Wilthorpe have been approved by the council. An application for the unit to be opened at Barnsley Business and Innovation Centre was originally submitted in September. These plans were given the green light by the council’s planning board earlier this week.
PLANS to build a new property in Hemingfield have been submitted to the council. If approved, work will take place adjacent to Cemetery Road. Eight neighbouring properties have been made aware of the plans with no appeals to date. Public consultation ends on December 4.
PLANS to make alterations to the Alhambra Centre have been approved by the council. Work includes cladding on existing gables, replacement water gutters and new covers. The application was originally submitted in September before being given the green light by the council’s planning board earlier this week.
