BARNSLEY South MP Stephanie Peacock attended the first cross-government Child Poverty Action Group meeting last week on behalf of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
Ms Peacock said: “It is important that we tackle poverty to make sure that every child has the best possible start in life, here in Barnsley and across the country.
"I am proud to be a part of this vital work of this Labour government.”
