BARNSLEY’S most and least expensive streets over the last five years have been revealed – and there’s a £400,000 gap between the two.

Professional fast sales company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry since 2019 to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the Barnsley postcodes.

Huddersfield Road, Barnsley, has been classed as the most expensive street – with three sales in the time frame at an average of £450,000.

This was followed by Doncaster Road, Harden Close, Hunters Avenue and Pogmoor Road – all of which have average sales of more than £300,000.

It was followed by Regent Street, Pond Street and Bank Street.
