THE Mayoress of Barnsley has organised a sponsored walk to help support two local charities.
Doreen Clarke’s 9.4km ‘Social Wellbeing Walk’ will take place on July 27 at 10am.
Meeting at Silkstone Common railway station, the walk will go through the surrounding area of the Trans Pennine Trail, before finishing at Worsbrough Reservoir.
Money raised will be donated to the Mayor John Clarke’s two chosen charities, Age UK Barnsley and the Well for Wellness.
