BARNSLEY East MP Stephanie Peacock stopped off a town centre charity to hear about what’s being done to help dementia sufferers.

Ms Peacock is a patron of BIADS and has visited the facility a number of times, offering her support for the work that staff and volunteers do ahead of Dementia Action Week.

She said: “I am proud to be a patron of the charity and to support the work that staff and volunteers do to support those who have dementia and their loved ones.

“I know that this work means a lot to people in the area.”
