AN online recruitment fair will be held next week to get Barnsley residents into local health and care jobs.
It’ll be open to people of all as from 11am until 7pm on Wednesday.
People will have the chance to talk live with recruitment managers online as health and care organisations across the town actively look for positions to fill.
Wendy Lowder, executive director for adults and communities, said: “We know that when people are looking for work, they are also looking to make a difference in a rewarding career they can be proud of.
“There is a wide range of health and care roles available in Barnsley, all of which will allow you to make a real difference in your community and someone’s life.
“We’re proud these roles also offer lots of opportunities for you to develop your skills and progress your career.
“If you’re looking for a role where you can help others, join us at our virtual recruitment event to see what the next part of your journey could be.
“We’ll highlight a range of local roles, including some that offer flexible working hours that can fit around your studies or family commitments.”
