A POPULAR food festival has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The Cannon Hall Farm food festival runs each year in July and features stalls and demonstrations from top chefs.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, staff at the farm have been forced to cancel this year’s festival over concerns for the health and wellbeing of patrons.
A spokesperson for the farm said on Facebook: “We felt it would not be safe or responsible to encourage large gatherings at this time.
“We take our responsibility to our visitors very seriously and we are so grateful to our traders and event organiser Food Festivals Ltd for their support and understanding.
“The event will return in 2021.”
