ON Thursday July 5 1948, the NHS was born!
It was launched by Aneurin Bevan, the Health Secretary of the post-War Labour government. It was a project to bring healthcare to everyone in the UK.
Tremendous progression has been made over the last 70 years and as the UK marks 70 years.
We want to see photos, old and new, of you or someone you know who works for the NHS. We will be creating a feature to put in the paper.
