MORE than 800 pupils from schools across Barnsley have recently taken part in a summer campaign to highlight swim safety.
Young people from Year 1, 2 and 3 were asked to design a poster about the campaign as part of a competition for the BPL Barnsley safe swim.
BPL then narrowed them down to ten finalists and the final winner was chosen for its engaging colours and quote.
Alice Feetham, 8, from Silkstone Primary, was the overall winner and her design has been made into posters, leaflets, free swim vouchers and badges.
They will be distributed all over the Barnsley to raise awareness of swim safety.
