DARFIELD councillor Kevin Osborne has urged residents in his ward to report fly-tipping when they see it.
It comes after he found some tipped waste in a local car park.
He said: “Saddened to see flytipping at Pit Pond Car Park on Bradbury Balk Lane.
“Frustratingly most of this could have been taken to any of Barnsley Council’s household waste recycling centres or failing that Barnsley Council’s bulky waste collections service rather than just dumped in our community.
“If you see flytipping such as this it can be reported via the council’s website.”
