Barnsley players make special hospice visit

BARNSLEY Football Club players paid a surprise visit to Barnsley Hospice recently.

The players were on hand to speak with staff and those using the hospice’s care.

Many first-teamers – including Luca Connell, Adam Phillips and Marc Roberts – were present.

A hospice spokesperson said: “We were also treated to a visit from Tom Masters.

“As well as learning about our services at Barnsley Hospice, players and staff from the club spent time with everyone, getting to know what Barnsley Hospice means to our community and why our partnership with the club brings so much joy to many.”
