PLANS to build six new houses have been turned down by the council.
An application for work to take place west of Millstones in Oxspring was originally submitted to the council in November last year.
The six houses comprised two two-bed properties, two three-bed and two four-bed.
However, the council rejected the plans earlier this week after 13 letters of objection were received.
A report states: “Taking into account the relevant development plan policies and other material considerations, it is not considered that the benefits of the proposal would clearly outweigh the harm that would result from the development.”
