A MUM who failed to make sure her child regularly attended school has been handed a £590 bill.
Kallie Guest, of Lindhurst Road, Athersley North, did not attend a hearing at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court earlier this month but was found guilty in her absence.
She was fined £293, told to pay a £117 surcharge and court costs of £180.
A THIEF who broke the conditions of a court-imposed community order has been jailed for three months. Chloe Hall, of Honeywell Street, Barnsley admitted breaching the rehabilitation activity requirement imposed in September. The 25-year-old failed to attend appointments.
A MAN who admitted tampering with his electronic monitoring tag having been convicted at court has been fined. Keiron Roebuck, of Litton Walk, Barnsley, appeared at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court earlier this month and was given a £40 fine and a £16 surcharge. The 28-year-old was allowed to pay the £56 sum back over three months.
AN arrest warrant for a man who is accused of fly-tipping has been granted by Barnsley Magistrates’ Court. Baman Salah, of High Street, Grimethorpe, was due to appear at the court ealier this montth but failed to show.
The 43-year-old is accused of breaching the Environmental Act 1990.
