PUPILS from two Barnsley schools received their certificates for completing the ‘Mini Police’ scheme this week.
Year five pupils took part in the innovative programme which sees officers engage with primary school pupils across South Yorkshire.
The youngsters completed sessions on personal safety, crime scene investigation, communication and parking and speeding.
