POLICE are carrying out forensic and CCTV enquiries following a gun-point robbery in Barnsley.
At 7.47pm last night police responded to reports of a gun-point robbery at the Co-Operative store off Keresforth Hill Road.
It is reported that an unknown man entered the store producing a firearm, and stole two tills containing cash.
Armed officers attended the store and carried out extensive searches for the suspect. An investigation is underway and officers are carrying out forensic and CCTV enquiries.
