POLICE have released images of jewellery stolen following a reported robbery in Barnsley.

Officers responded to reports of an assault and robbery in Bradberry Balk Lane in Wombwell at 8.06pm on April 22. It is alleged that a 30-year-old man was assaulted and suffered minor injuries during the reported robbery in which several items of jewellery were stolen. Enquiries are ongoing and officers have now released images of the stolen jewellery. The items are a knot ring, rhino head ring, square ring with diamonds, keeper ring, a gold link bracelet, and a gold chain necklace.

A police spokesperson said: “We are now appealing for anyone who recognises the items in these images to come forward. You can pass information to police online or by calling 101.
