SOUTH Yorkshire Fire and Rescue have asked the public for help as another period of extreme heat is expected.
A spokesperson from the service said: "We are heading for another heatwave and we need your help.
"Leave the disposable BBQs at home. No campfires and absolutely no garden bonfires.
"Take your litter home with you. Dispose of cigarettes safely."
The upcoming heatwave comes after a major incident was declared in South Yorkshire during July, as the service dealt with an unprecedented number of fires.
