OFFICERS in Barnsley are appealing for information following the unexplained death of a man on Sunday.
The 22-year-old was found in Portland Street at 9am and detectives are currently working to establish the circumstances around his death.
Police are now appealing for anyone who saw anything in the area of Saturday evening or Sunday morning to come forward.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “His family members have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
“No arrests have been made at this stage and we are currently awaiting the full results of a post-mortem examination.
