BARNSLEY Hospice has extended its thanks to everyone who participated in a Christmas fundraiser, after £20,000 was raised.
The Rudolph Run took place over the festive period and children were sponsored to see how far they could run wearing a Chrismtas jumper and reindeer antlers.
Around 16 groups took part from schools across the borough.
A spokesperson for the hospice said: “The groups donned their antlers and red noses and took on a sponsored run or walk in support of Barnsley Hospice, and helped to raise an incredible amount, despite the difficult circumstances we are all facing.
“To all those who took part or sponsored a runner, we would like to say a big thank you on behalf of everyone here at the hospice.”
